hail damageThere have been a lot of storms that have passed through the state of Minnesota this season and they have done their fair share of damage. However, the recent increase in storm intensity has been really felt is some key areas in Minnesota. Maplewood, Woodbury and Oakdale have all been seriously damaged by recent storms and this has become quite disconcerting for the people here. In a normal storm season, any home owner can expect some amount of damage, but what has been sustained here is more than the norm.
Because of this, people from Maplewood, Woodbury and Oakdale have been scrambling to find a roofing contractor capable of repairing hail damage. There is no way for these residents to know if there will be additional hail damage, but it is a risk that they cannot take. That is why we want you to keep in mind the folks at Evergreen Construction. They have the expertise to help you with your problem and you will find that they will complete the job in a quick and efficient manner. If you live in one of these areas, do not hesitate to call for an estimate.

hail damageFor many people in the Midwest, there has been a lull in the foul weather that has ravaged the region for the past several months. Of course, there are excessive heat warnings in this area, but for the most part, this is been a decent break for the area. The only region that is in concern is the area of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Here you will find warnings for severe flooding. There should be more coming, however, so you will need to keep a close watch on the weather reports.
Do not be lulled into thinking that the storms are gone. There is a large amount of moisture in the air that will not go away any time soon. The Gulf of Mexico is very warm right now and this moisture means severe storms for the entire region. The humidity should not be your only concern. If any of the dry cold air from the north pushes its way to the south then this could create the potential for hail damage. This is even truer for the upper Midwest states where they can expect severe hail damage. Make sure that you have a roofing contractor available in case anything should happen.

hail damageThis has been a strange storm season. That is for sure. The nature of storms that have run across the entire country have been out of the ordinary. People have started to adjust to this and now they are starting to wonder what will happen next. The typical El Nino system takes about a year to run its course so this will create issues well until next spring. During the last El Nino season there were storms that were incredibly intense. During many days freeways would be shut down because of the sheer volume of water that was being distributed.
For areas like the Midwest and Southeast that already suffer the effects of spring and summer storms, this will be even more difficult. What happens in these areas is that the storms continue well into the fall and sometimes into the winter. Winter storms that would usually bring snow will now cause hail damage. That is why this year it may be very important for you to evaluate and choose a very good roofing contractor. For ½ of the year you have to be concerned about hail damage, but now you must be prepared for this well into winter.

hail damageThere is a reason that this season we are seeing more serious storms than usual. Of course by now we all know that there has been an increase in moisture in the atmosphere and that this is causing some very major problems. The El Nino that has been forming seems to be more powerful than usual. El Nino occurs when a warm body of water moves from the Western Pacific and comes to rest at the shore line of South America. This causes some drastic changes…none of which are good.
The El Nino changes the temperature of the water enough to push migrations of fish far north and it creates a virtual dead zone where it is located. Increased rain amounts can be seen all over the country and the storms that normally plague the Midwest are particularly powerful. These can cause serious storms with a whole host of problems including tornados, micro bursts and hail damage. The hail damage is very severe because the size of the hail increases dramatically. Because of this, be sure to check for roof hail damage in the coming months.

hail damageOver the last several weeks, there has been an increase in moisture through the upper atmosphere. It just does not seem to relent. Even typically drier places in the southwest have been hit with high humidity values and this is causing some serious problems for these people. Of course the Midwest is always a bit muggy during this time of the year, but it seems that this year it seems to be particularly bad. So much moisture is coming up from the south, in the Gulf of Mexico, that this is causing weather problems all across the eastern half of the country.
This influx of hot moist air is really a problem because air from then north is drier and colder than usual. Because of this, you can expect the storms over the summer to be more intense than usual. This is not good for people from the Midwest because they already suffer enough hail damage as it is. With more severe storms comes more severe hail so you will want to make sure that you your home is protected from the most serious roof hail damage. Be sure you check your roof for hail damage after every storm this summer.

hail damageAs the summer has progressed, there have been a number of climate changes that have occurred. The effect of El Nino has had to a lot with this. The fronts that normally generate during the Spring and Summer seem to have an increased intensity that has not been seen for a number of years. There is a lot of discussion concerning the origination of these changes. Some people think that this is due to global warming, while others think that this is a cyclical progression. It is hard to say.
The simple fact of the matter is that there is not enough evidence to look at. It takes thousands, if not millions of years to measure climate changes. What we are seeing now is only a very small piece of the pie. What is important is that the storms have increased in intensity. Hail damage brought by some of these fronts has been more than what people expected. The impact of this is always felt most seriously by the residents of the Midwest where hail damage is always a major concern. It is good for you that there are some very good roofing contractors in this area that can help you. First and foremost on that list is Evergreen Construction.

hail damageRecently, there has been a lot of activity in the Gulf of Mexico and even the Pacific coast. There is a lot of moisture in the atmosphere and this does more than increase the humidity. Of course, that is one of the negative consequences of a lot of moisture, but there are more serious ones to be concerned about. The weather to the north of the states remains very mild. When the air is so cold, dense and dry, it create havoc like nothing else. Storm cells become huge and can top out well above 30,000 feet.
That is a concern. Even for residents in California, the specter of thunderstorms looms large as moisture from south of Baja Mexico collides with the mountains here. These storms are fierce and they have the potential to create serious hail damage. Hail damage can be very harsh on personal property. With an automobile you can store it and protect it from this element, however, you cannot hide a roof. A roof will be exposed to the elements. That is its job. In time it is certain to sustain hail damage. Only a good roofing contractor like Evergreen Construction can help you with this.

hail damageThis has been a strange year concerning weather for a lot of people. Today, there are massive waves on the beaches of Southern California because of storms generated all the way out from Hawaii and Japan. The storms in these two areas are the result of an unusual phenomenon; it is called El Nino. El Nino is one of the biggest disruptors of natural weather patterns that we know. These strange ocean masses can cause changes to weather that are felt all over the world. Not only this, but these changes seem to last up for an entire year.
Even though these warm bodies of water originate in the Indian Ocean, there impact can be felt all over the United States. Storms along all of the continuous states tend to be much more severe. This is true for the Midwest where annual storms already bring a significant amount of hail damage. Hail damage is a major concern for the people who live in this area because it can really have a negative impact on your roof. It is always good to have a dependable roofing contractor like Evergreen Construction, but during the El Nino this is especially important.

storm watchThere has been a lull in the storm for the people of Minnesota. The low pressure system that developed over the last few days has finally left. There is a short break here for the local residents and hopefully this will give them the opportunity to make any repairs that they need for some of the hail damage left behind. That is the good news. The bad news is that there is a storm system to the Northwest of the area that threatens to bring some more serious storms. That is life for people in Minnesota.
There is a possibility that the storm could follow a northern trajectory but it is too early to tell at this point. Hopefully this is the case because this region has suffered a lot from the storms that have passed over the last few weeks. The hail damage has been pretty severe and these have been some of the most powerful storms to pass through the area for some time. If this particular storm should move south then there is a threat of more damage. Because of this, it is wise for you to take advantage of this time and contact a roofing contractor.

stormLooking at some of today’s weather patterns I have noticed some troubling signs for areas across the Midwest and Southeast. In the Midwest there is a low pressure system with a front that extends from coast to coast. On the western end of the front, the storm extends from Minnesota to California. This part of the front is stationary so these areas can expect foul weather all day. To the eastern side of the front, the storm extends across all of the northern states and into Canada where it attaches to an occluded front.
The brunt of this system is centered just west of Minnesota and it appears to be moving from west to east. The area for thunderstorms and hail damage extends through five states so it is a rather large area. To the Southeast, there is a stationary front that runs from Texas all the way out to the Atlantic Ocean. This is very troubling because the hail damage and thunderstorms that run through this area will be here all day. With all the storms in the area, there will be a lot of calls for roofing contractors in the next few days.
