Storm Watch: Bensenville Hardest Hit?
06 April 2010
Although not all the reports are in from the storms that swept through the area last night and early this morning, at least one place is filing a claim about roofing hail damage that actually took the entire roof off two industrial buildings. Along with the numerous trees and power lines that were knocked down in Bensenville, at least two industrial buildings in the area had their roofs blown completely off.
Concerns about the three waves of hailstorms that passed through the area continued right until the morning when the Federal aviation administration reported delays at O’Hare international Airport of almost 1 hour.
The kind of property damage that comes with these storms is nothing new to the residents of the area and hail storm damage in the Chicago area has been around long enough that residents know they can count on places like the Evergreen Construction Co. Inc. so that they can rebound from any of the hail storm damage that might occur.
