With the summer storms come all sorts of elements that have to be dealt with. Thunderstorms have hit this area all year long and have left behind a wake of damage to homes and property. Today I have been carefully watching some of the storms in the Midwest because they are bringing with them some serious flooding to the area. The storms this season have cropped up a little faster than usual so it has been difficult at times to keep up with all the weather warnings and watches.

Today I am focusing on flooding in the region, but there is always the possibility of hail damage. The thunderstorm season has not quite ended and you can count on a few more big storms this season. There has been somewhat of a cooling trend with colder air moving south from Canada, but this is not necessarily good.
