The storm damage mn from the large hail that accompanied the three sets of storms that passed through the area yesterday and early this morning were not the only concern. At 10:47pm last night, wind gusts of close to 70 miles an hour were reported at O’Hare International Airport.
The second of the two storms that hit last night sweeping through the area with hail stones as large in some places as 2 inches was especially bad in McHenry County. In that particular area there was reports of hail storm damage on several fronts including at least one barn that had been leveled.
Crystal Lake even had a report of one injury and all the emergency responders in the area were kept busy with serious reports of hail storm damage in several areas.
It’s just this kind of weather event that makes people in the Midwest and Chicago area grateful for the fact that they have Minnesota roofing contractors on their side that understand the nature of this kind of storm damage mn.
