Storm Watch: Town After Town Reports Damage
06 April 2010
Reports are being pieced together after three waves of hailstorms passed through the area ending this morning and causing the kind of roofing hail damage and electrical outages that can create havoc. South Elgin reported that they were being hit by one inch hail stones just after 10pm last night and Island Lake reported that the winds were gusting up to 60 miles an hour just fifteen minutes later.
In all , there were three sets of storms that passed through the Chicago area although there were only scattered reports of hail storm damage to the properties in these areas. One hour after the Island Lake reports some places were reporting that they were experiencing 2 inch hail stones.
These are just the size to cause some real roofing hail damage and that’s why the people in the area know that they need trusted professionals to look after them. These people all turn to the Evergreen Construction Company Inc because they understand these are the people who are best equipped to handle the ravages of hail storm damage.
