Storm Watch: Weather elsewhere
28 September 2009
This is a bad time of year concerning weather. The Southeast has to deal with the possibility of hurricanes. It was only a few years ago that Hurricane Katrina absolutely destroyed this particular area. In the Midwest, people have to struggle with huge storm systems that bring tornados, hail damage and all other sorts of problems. In the Southwest there is the issue of Santa Ana winds. In addition to this there are also hurricanes that sometimes move north from the area of Baja Mexico. No matter where you look there always seems to be a potential problem.
One of my biggest concerns is hail damage. This is because there are so many opportunities for this to occur. Of course a hurricane will cause more damage than a normal storm system but hurricanes are relatively few. In the same way, there is only a short time period when Santa Ana winds plague the Southwest. However, you can guarantee that there will be several storms that travel through the Midwest throughout the entire Spring and Summer months. The accumulated total of hail damage is remarkable and this is why it is so Important for you to make sure you have a very good roofing contractor like Evergreen Construction.
